OpenAI has launched Record Mode for ChatGPT Plus users on macOS, expanding a feature previously limited to Team, Enterprise, and Education subscribers. Available via a new “rec” button in the ChatGPT desktop app, Record Mode records audio directly on the device and generates automatic transcripts alongside structured notes. These notes include summaries, action items, and follow-up questions, reducing the manual burden of post-meeting documentation.
